Anyone who has organised food for the office knows the routine. A message goes round asking about dietary requirements, the replies come back, and the list grows: one vegan, two gluten-free, someone avoiding sugar, someone on keto. By the time the order is placed, there is a main platter for most people and a small plate on the side for everyone else. At Yummzy, we think the office should eat the way a good table eats: together, from the same food. Everything we make is vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, keto and low carb, so one order works for the whole team.
Why office catering in Canary Wharf often leaves someone out
Canary Wharf has no shortage of places to order meeting food from. Most of them, however, treat dietary needs as an extra. There is a vegan option, a gluten-free option, and perhaps a lighter option, each one made for a different person. A gluten-free sandwich may still contain dairy. A vegan cake may be made with wheat and plenty of sugar. The colleague with more than one requirement often ends up with very little, and the person who organised the order spends the meeting checking labels.
We built Yummzy the other way round. Rather than adding a special item to a standard menu, we made every item suitable for everyone. That makes the organiser's job much simpler: there is no separate list, and nobody has to explain their diet in front of their colleagues.
Office birthday cakes and team celebrations
Birthdays, leaving dos, new starters, work anniversaries and deals closed all deserve a proper cake, and a cake only works if everyone can have a slice. Our whole cakes are 9 inch and serve about 16, which suits most teams. A few office favourites:
- Triple Choco Cake: a tender chocolate cake made with single estate cacao, covered with rich chocolate frosting. A safe choice for any chocolate lover.
- Caramilla Blondie Cake: a layered vanilla cake with homemade caramel sauce and caramel frosting. It comes with pink, blue or plain caramel decoration, which makes it easy to match a theme.
- Bery Lemony Cake: a refreshing lemon cake with a sour cherry frosting, for teams who prefer something fruity.
- Choco Stwawby Dreammm Cake: chocolate sponge with strawberry frosting and a chocolate glaze, and a favourite for birthday messages.

Sweet and savoury platters for meetings and away days
A long meeting needs more than cake. We make sweet platters, savoury platters, or a mix of both, for small team meetings and larger office events, and we can make them for whatever numbers you need. A sweet platter brings together a selection of our cakes and bakes, cut into easy pieces to share. Here are some examples of what can go on a savoury platter:
- Focaccia Sandwich, also known as the Focanini: one of the most popular savoury choices at our cafe.
- Savoury Muffins: pizza and Kalamata olive muffins, easy to eat between agenda items.
- Petite Protein Pocket: a mini baguette filled with pea protein no chick'n and Yummzy tzatziki.
- Vegan Saucisse Roll: our take on the sausage roll, with a gentle warmth from the spices.
- Pesto Mushroom Wrap and No Chick'n Wrap: filling wraps for a working lunch.
Our menu changes over time, so treat these as examples rather than a fixed list. Platters are not ordered through the website. Please get in touch with us to pre-order or ask for a quote.
How to plan your office order
- Count your people. One whole cake serves about 16. For platters, tell us how many people you are feeding and we will suggest a size.
- Give us at least 3 days' notice for smaller orders, and more for larger ones. We bake everything fresh for your date, so the bigger the order, the earlier we would like to hear from you. If you need something sooner, email yumm@yummzy.co.uk and we will see what we can do.
- Order your cake online and choose your collection date, or contact us for platters and larger orders.
- Collect from Cabot Square. Our cafe is at 18-19 Cabot Square, Canary Wharf, London E14 4PZ, a short walk from Canary Wharf station on the Jubilee line, the Elizabeth line and the DLR.
- Tell us about allergies when you order, so we can help you choose.

Or bring the team to us
Sometimes the best team celebration happens away from the desk. You can bring your colleagues to our cafe and share the same cake at the same table. To book a table for a group, contact us at least 3 days in advance, or earlier for a larger group. For a team social, take a look at our events calendar, which includes evenings such as board games nights and hands-on latte art workshops. They are a relaxed way for colleagues to spend time together, and everyone can eat and drink from the same menu.
A note on allergies
Most Yummzy items contain tree nuts, and our kitchen handles several tree nuts, so any item may contain traces. We do not use peanuts. Every product page lists its allergens, so please check before you order and tell us about any allergies.
