There is a simple idea behind everything we bake at Yummzy: everyone should be able to sit at the same table and enjoy the same treats. Whether you are gluten free, sugar free, diabetic, keto or plant based, nobody should be left with an empty plate while everyone else tucks in. For a long time, the easiest way to enjoy that table was to visit our café at 18-19 Cabot Square in Canary Wharf. Now we can bring a slice of it to homes across mainland UK.
Yummzy began at home. Our founder has type 1 diabetes, and finding a sweet treat that was truly sugar free was always a challenge. Many products promised to be sugar free but used coconut sugar, maltitol, dates, honey or syrups, which still affect blood sugar levels. There was simply nothing on the market we could trust, so we started baking it ourselves.
We are a small family business. We built Yummzy with our own savings, without grants or investors, and we share everything between the two of us, from the kitchen and day-to-day running of the café to training, finances and our social media.
Since then, most of the products we have entered into awards, including our Yummtella spread, have won gold, with a few silvers along the way. Our Le Pain Boo bread, made with bamboo flour, which is high in fibre and protein and very low in carbs, was even named Healthier Product of the Year in a category we had not entered.
The moment that stays with us most happened in the café. A mother came in with her daughter and suddenly started crying. We worried something had gone wrong, but nothing had. She was simply happy that her daughter could enjoy cake with her friends without worrying about feeling unwell afterwards. That is why we bake, and it is why we now deliver nationwide: so more families can share that moment, wherever they live.
What makes a Yummzy treat different
All of our products are made with gluten-free almond flour and a touch of coconut flour. They are sweetened with natural Stevia or naturally sourced Stevia and Erythritol, and they are flavoured and coloured with natural extracts such as hibiscus, turmeric, spirulina, matcha and pitaya. Over 95% of our ingredients are organic and ethically sourced, and our products contain less than 5 grams of carbs per serving.
Allergy note: because we bake with almond flour and most of our cakes contain tree nuts, our treats are not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy. Our kitchen handles tree nuts, so any item may contain traces.
A few examples of what you can order
The nationwide range changes as we bake, so here are just a few examples of what is currently available for delivery:
- Loaves for slow mornings: the Earl Grey Loaf and the Choco Orange Loaf are made for sharing with a cup of tea.
- Cake slices: try the Cappuccino Cake Slices, the Illie Vanillie Cake Slices or the Carrotzy Walnutty.
- Cupcakes: the Triple Choco Heart Cupcakes, Maple Pecan Cupcakes and Bery Lemony Cupcakes are firm favourites.
- Brownies and blondies: our Rich Caramel Brownies and Caramilla Blondie Slices are rich without the sugar crash.
- Something a little different: the Chocomel Truffle Teasecake Slices, the Breakthrough Tiramisu Pot and our Doh'nuts.
- For your cupboard: a jar of Yummtella or a bar of Not Dubai Chocolate.

Whole celebration cakes are not part of the nationwide range. They are available for collection only from our Cabot Square café.
How nationwide delivery works
Delivery is available to UK mainland addresses, with a minimum order of £40.00. You can see full delivery details on our Shipping Policy page.
Weekly cut-off: everything is freshly made to order and chilled for transit, so our weekly cut-off for nationwide delivery is Monday. Orders placed after Monday will normally be scheduled for the following week's dispatch. Our FAQ explains that orders are dispatched on Tuesday or Wednesday and arrive on Wednesday or Thursday.
Tracking: once your parcel is with our courier, please keep an eye on the email or text notifications and the tracking link. Do double-check your address at checkout, and if nobody will be home, you can rearrange the delivery or redirect it to a neighbour or safe place.
Packaging: we package everything as carefully as we can, while keeping it polar bear friendly. If your order is likely to weigh more than 10kg, please contact us before you place it.
Stock up and save
Our baked products stay lovely in the fridge for days and can be frozen for up to two months. The trick to keeping them moist and fluffy is to wrap the box or the treats themselves in cling film. That makes a larger order a smart choice: it cuts down on deliveries and means there is always something good waiting in the freezer.
